Peter O’Brien is the craftsman behind Village Leather craft, based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Having learnt his craft in the heydays of the late 1970s, Peter brings an authenticity and originality to each item he creates.
At Village Leather Craft we only use vegetable tanned leather of the best quality, therefore we have the satisfaction of knowing that the products we produce will have the durability to last.
All dyes, stains and finishes are natural water based products and all stitching and lacing is done by hand.
Each pattern is hand carved and hand stamped.
